Full Moon!

I missed getting the "wolf" moon last night due to the weather. But tonight it was clear and dry and the full moon was shining strong!

There was a beautiful sunset tonight, I did manage to get a bit of it. We went out to Natomas to go to a barbeque place but found out it was closed and out of business! So we ended up at Hooters!

Cleaning house! Anyone need any clothes??

I took on the task tonight of cleaning out my closet of old clothes and shoes, and here are the bags, they did get much more fuller by the end of the night. It was hard to do but it needed to be done!!

Valentines' candy is out in full force! Here are a few shots..too bad these sweethearts were only good for photographing, they tasted horrible..that's what I get for getting off brand candy! yuck!

Kyle loves to play Wii but he really likes us to play it while he watches, tonight he was watching daddy do bowling, and since I was taking a picture of it Kyle ran and got his camera to take some pictures too! LOL! Then he decided to kick back and watch.

We were trying to figure out what to have for dinner tonight, after going down a list of possibilities, we decided to have Breakfast for Dinner. It was a good idea.

Calm before the Storm

I took this right after one storm and before another one was beginning. I caught just a tiny bit of the sun going down, and then I took a boring picture of a pond that was near a park in our neighborhood. I did jazz it up a bit using my topaz plug-in in Photoshop.

Then you no longer could see the sun but it sure made the sky beautiful!!

Pachinko anyone?

Here is my some 30+ year old pachinko machine. I got it when I lived in Japan in the 70's, and I've been hanging on to it where ever I go.

My husband restored it some and it actually lights up and such, my son loves to play with it.

I decided to give this a try, it is mostly scribbles as I have not perfected the art of writing backwards. My husband had this neat LED pen that changes colors so I set up my tripod and went into a dark room, and set the timer and used a long exposure and came up with these.

Another Sunset..

I went out again tonight to try to get another sunset picture since we actually had a sunny day today...but I was alittle too late. So today's picture is not too exciting!

50 Lbs of Oranges!

We received 50 lbs of oranges from a friend who happens to own a orchard down in/around Bakersfield. They sure are yummy!

I wonder how long it will take to eat these???
